About

Following a long history of football being played in the village of Haddenham. in 2002, a group of parents who were disappointed to see that the recreation field was not being used after the adult teams folding some years earlier. They got together and put on a series of “taster” sessions for a small group of children. From those taster sessions grew the club we have today and Haddenham Rovers Colts F.C. was formerly recognised by Cambridgeshire FA in 2002.

The club continued to grow year on year and in 2009 saw the addition of its first girls team. Over subsequent years we have had an equal number of boys and girls playing for the club. We currently have 219 registered players.

Since the club started Haddenham has a fantastic record of producing competitive teams which have won a number of leagues, cups and tournaments.

The club also runs a successful academy for boys and girls aged 4 years plus, from which many of our team have emerged over the years.

We are a club run entirely by volunteers, the majority of which are parents of current and ex players. There are currently 19 FA qualified coaches at the club at various levels. Including Level 1, 2 and Goalkeeping. With another 20 plus volunteers assisting in various roles.

Haddenham Rovers Colts is affiliated to Cambridgeshire County FA and has been an FA Standard Chartered Club Since 2005.

We will achieve this by providing a fun, safe and trusting environment where every child is valued, supported and encouraged.

We will focus on success through enjoyment and development, with each
coach/player given the opportunity to learn about football, establish good
relationships and develop the skills that will aid them throughout their lives.
